Hospice of Acadiana, Inc. is a local non-profit organization of compassionate, well-trained professionals, support staff, and volunteers who provide a comprehensive program of medical care, counseling, and spiritual direction to persons with life-threatening conditions and their families.

 

 

A Community Service 

When Hospice of Acadiana was established in 1983, one of the guiding principles was a pledge to accept all medically eligible patients, regardless of their ability to pay for services. Since that time, we have dedicated ourselves to compassionate care for the dying as a form of community ministry rather than as a business and we have set quality of care, not financial reward, as the ultimate measure of our success.
